What should I send for a quote?
Share a project brief, current cut or reference video, runtime, target delivery date and intended release platforms. Note whether you need dialogue editing, sound design, final mixing or a complete workflow. Include any known audio problems, alternate versions and delivery specifications so the scope can be discussed before work begins.
What should editorial prepare?
Before exporting, confirm the audio handoff with Hammond Sound. Discuss the picture reference, session exchange format, original production recordings, music and effects, and any notes about problem takes. Identifying the picture version and keeping timecode consistent helps the audio work stay aligned with editorial.
What does final delivery include?
The mix format and deliverables are agreed around the project’s destination. Share web, broadcast, podcast or other platform specifications, including channel layout and loudness requirements. Stereo, 3.1 and 5.1 workflows are available; discuss any separate stems, alternate versions or additional exports when defining the scope.
How are revisions handled?
Discuss review rounds, the approval schedule and the status of picture before the quote is finalized. Consolidated, timecoded notes help keep feedback clear. If the cut changes during audio post, share the new picture version and a change list so any additional editing or mixing can be scoped before proceeding.
